MY CAREER JOURNEY

With 14 years of experience advancing organizational change and developing leaders in public, private, and third sectors, I currently serve as an OD Subject Matter Expert and Executive Coach at REI Systems, Inc. where I drive OD and IDEA strategies for federal clients. As an ICF-accredited Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I've coached hundreds of seasoned and emerging leaders on topics like trust, team management, workplace conflict, cross-cultural collaboration, strategic communication, and inclusive decision-making across a variety of environments, ranging from the C-Suite at Fortune 500 companies to senior leaders at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

WHERE IT STARTED

During the first half of my career, I built my change management, IDEA, and strategic communications expertise at organizations like Microsoft Public Sector Services and PBS NewsHour. My work building more diverse and equitable grant and mentorship programs with physician-scientists in the research and grants space ignited my passion for coaching leaders in STEM industries. I continued to grow my program development, leadership development, and strategy design background at BE Equitable, where I led training, professional development, and learning and development (L&D) strategy initiatives to operationalize IDEA throughout the employee lifecycle.

WHERE I'VE BEEN

In 2020, I founded Inspira, providing OD and IDEA consulting and coaching services in the non-profit and third sectors, facilitating IDEA learning engagements for over 4000+ global climate justice leaders worldwide, fostering inclusive leadership dialogues at a pivotal time in the organization's history. Working with an influential chapter at this NGO, I also launched an Inclusive Leadership Group Coaching Program to grow strategic alignment and IDEA acumen with both board and chapter leadership.

Over the last two years, I've grown my skills in the federal sector, helping agency leaders operationalize their OD and IDEA strategies. I've had the privilege to provide advisory support to GSA projects including Section 508 program support for the IT Accessibility team in the Office of Governmentwide Policy, advancing IDEA strategy and equity maturation efforts for the Office of the Administrator, designing governance initiatives for the Office of Shared Services and Performance Improvement, and providing learning and development guidance to the Chief Data Officer Council.

MY LIVED EXPERIENCE

I identify as a queer, latinx, and chronically ill woman. My intersectional identities and lived experiences inform my empathic approach to the work I do in organizations. Having personally experienced the feeling of not belonging, I know what it feels like to not always see yourself represented in society and in organizational life. I seek to model authenticity so that people feel safe to show up as their whole selves.
